Hi Everyone!
I was able to make a card last night
for the current DCWV challenge that ends on the 31st.
For the challenge, this pagemaps sketch was given:

Here is the card I made for the challenge,
I used The Blossom & Butterflies Stack.

My daughter, Bella (8 yrs. old) is also learning
to make cards
and wanted to play along.
Here is her card, she used the Sweet Stack.

The tag holder she used for her card was made by a sweet friend and sent to us in a gift.
My daughter loved it and wanted to reuse it.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Try to play along!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a shaker card featuring some Nautical Trendy Twine
**and some blue sequins available at Annie's Paper Boutique.**
I love to make shaker cards! They are so fun to make and to give to someone.
The theme this month is Beach, so that always makes me think of sailboats on the water.

I used the By the Sea SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables for the shaker window, just the negative portion that is normally tossed out. I filled my two sails with 2 different sized gold and iridescent sequins.
The boat is filled with Blue sequins and stars.

I added the sentiment from Sun Kissed by Scrappy Mom's stamps
The cute anchor is also an SVG from Miss Kate Cuttables.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!!
I have something new and fun to share today.
My BFF Stacey and I have decided to change up
our card swaps and do a fun card collaboration
with the same stamp set,
we are calling it "Card Harmony".

We were inspired by Fern Bainbridge and Ashley or Sparklycanadiancraftygirl
and their card wars posts on Instagram.
We loved the idea of using the same stamp sets
and creating something to share.
So we decided to do our own version,
we will take turns purchasing a stamp set for each other, it will be a surprise to the other until it arrives in their mailbox and we will each create and share
something with the stamp set.
We will share our creations on the third Monday of each month.

For our first one, I picked "Chance of Rain
from a recent Mama Elephant release.
Here is my card:

For my card, I decided to make a shaker card
because they are just so fun.
I used several sets of sequins for my shakers,
Martha Stewart, Pretty Pink Posh
and JoAnns seed beads.
The little heart sequins from Martha Stewart
make it look like falling heart rain.
I paper pieced the girl's raincoat and her umbrella
with some Hello Sunshine from Doodlebug designs.
I colored the cute bear and girl with my copic markers.

Make sure to check out Stacey's awesome card!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
We plan to make this is monthly event
as our schedules permit.
Have a wonderful day!!

Hi Everyone!!
Today I am sharing Disneyland inspired picture frame
featuring some Love My Tapes washi tapes.
I have several picture frames that I purchased cheaply at Walmart in the craft section.
I have several Disneyland pictures that I would love to display, so I thought I would make a fun project with some washi tape, a frame and some fun Miss Kate Cuttables SVGs.

Close-up of the frame with the washi tapes.
To cover my frame, I used several Love My Tapes washi tapes that I thought were
"Mouse/Disney inspired."
Yellowish Orange Chevron
Red and White
Black and White Stripes
Red Hearts
Cameras Black and White

I covered the frames with these tapes then gave the frame a few coats of Mod Podge Matte to seal the tapes to the frame. This didn't take long to dry and I don't need to worry about the tape coming off the frame. Then I added my die cuts to the outside of the frame with some foam adhesive to give them some dimension.
All done!
