Hi Everyone!!
My BFF Stacey and I have decided to change up
our card swaps and do a fun card collaboration
our card swaps and do a fun card collaboration
with the same stamp set,
we are calling it "Card Harmony".
we are calling it "Card Harmony".
This is our fourth card harmony post.
This month was Stacey's turn to pick,
she picked Spooktacular by Lawn Fawn.
Perfect for Halloween and the images are just so fun!!
Our additional challenge this month was to make a Halloween card
with absolutely NO BLACK!
Wow!! That one was so tough!!
I decided to stick with my other favorite Halloween colors.
Our additional challenge this month was to make a Halloween card
with absolutely NO BLACK!
Wow!! That one was so tough!!
I decided to stick with my other favorite Halloween colors.
I made a Distress background for my card using
Dusty Concord, Broken China,
Salty Ocean and Peacock feathers.
Then I embossed my background
with a few stars from the set.
I also embossed my ghosts in white, silver
and Kaleidoscope embossing powders.
Two of the ghosts are embossed on vellum cardstock,
one in regular and one in silver.
Then I added a little bit of Wink of Stella for some shimmer.
The border is a strip of the embossed silver to match and the Spider web border punch from Martha Stewart crafts
from some glitter paper.
Make sure to stop by Stacey's Blog
to see her amazing card!!
Have a wonderful day!!
