Winter inspired Thank You card

Hi Everyone!

Happy Hump day! 

Today I am sharing a card I made for one 

of the current card sketch challenges over at

Scrapbook.com for January.

Here is my take on the sketch using some of the 

things I got in January's Simon Says Stamp Card Kit.

First, I heat embossed the sentiment and the background (the snowflakes) then I took some scraps from the kit that I had from previous cards and adhered those down in the pattern.

Next, I added some snowflakes, also in the kit, with a few clear rhinestones.

A Sparkly Hello

Hi Everyone! 

Today starts a new challenge on the

Pink & Main Challenge blog: Sparkle!

For my sparkly card, 

I used the Stitched Greetings 

stamp set.

I took a stitched rectangle panel and heat embossed the "Hello" sentiment from the set in Kaleidoscope embossing powder. I also heat embossed the stitched tag in Silver and stamped the "Hello" sentiment in purple.

I added some glittery silver washi tape, a thin strip of cardstock, some snowflake sequins and lily white enamel dots  to the panel and sentiment tag. The patterned paper is from the Polar Pals collection from Doodlebug.

I just love these colors and of course, all that sparkle!

I have some exciting news to share

I am now a Design Team member

Woo-Hoo!!! I am so excited! 

They have the cutest stamps  and the sweetest owner.

Today is my first project as a Team member and I'm also sharing a sneak peek of the January 2016 release.

For my card, I used one of my favorite color combinations.

I stamped the background using one of the new sets, Fun Washi being released later on this month, on a stitched rectangle die cut panel. This set has so many fun possibilities. I embossed the sentiment from another new set, called Hugs Needed in silver embossing powder. 

How beautiful is that font!

 These snowflakes embossed beautifully!! Look at that detail!

This last picture is a sneak of another stamp set being released this week! ;o)

For my project, I made some shaker tags. I used pre-made tags I picked up from JoAnn's and die cut the window with a Oval Spellbinders die. I embossed the sentiment and snowflakes in silver and stardust embossing powders and added some rhinestones. I filled my window with some tinsel glitter, glittered snowflakes and a few hearts. I then added some Cranberry Trendy Twine and Tinsel ribbon.
