So I have finally decided to start dabbling in scrapbooking. I signed up for a 2 page Layout challenge over at scrapbook.com. The sketch is amazing! Love it!! :)
So I thought I would share my very first 12x12 Layout!
Here is the sketch.
Here is my take on the sketch! :)
12x 12 LO

Wow, 12x12 LOs are really tough to photograph!
The pictures are from this past Easter.
I used Designer Calendar, Wall decor & More and Jubilee cartridges for my title and brackets. I got my basket from Celebrate with Flourish and my eggs from Sugar and Spice Lite cartridges. I used my Sew Easy and thread for my circle and my rick rack is from Martha Stewart. . All my patterned paper is from Paper Pizazz found at JoAnn's.
Thanks for looking at my first LO! I am planning many more to come!!
Have a wonderfully crafty day!

I promised our daughter that I would make her a door hanger when I made one for our nephew and our son. I saw Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge-
***Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter.... etc...! ***
I knew I had to make this for our daughter.
I used cereal box chipboard for my door hanger base from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (altered on my gypsy)  and cut patterned paper for the front and back, I let our daughter choose these and I think she did a great job! Especially for a four year old!
I used the "Lite" Cartridge Twinkle Toes and my dancer is cut at 6 with all the layers & I also used Sugar & Spice  "Lite" Cartridge to cut the "Little Princess" for the back at 1". I used the font for "Bella" from Baby Steps Cartridge with the shadow all welded on my gypsy. My dad calls her "Bella-rina" so this was perfect for her.
I used Stickles and my irock to "Bling" it up! The paper is from K &Co (front),  Heidi Grace Floral Whimsy (Back) and SU! Pretty In Pink for the Ballerina. I used Peachy Keen Princess Faces for my Ballerina also and I think its the PERFECT touch! I love their stamps!!
She LOVES it and I am so glad!!
Thanks for looking and make sure to check out Emma's Challenge!!
Have a wonderfully Crafty Saturday!

I thought it would be fun to share a diaper cake I finished for my mom's co-worker for her great-grand daughter. That's a mouthful! I haven't made one in awhile but I have several new babies being born soon so I thought I would refresh my diaper cake skills a little. I love the colors here and the flowers!
I used newborn and size 1 diapers. The middle of the cake is held stable with two bottles of baby soap and
a baby bottle.

I made alot of these really sweet baby sock flowers and some are attached to stems.

I forgot to cover the base until it was already too late so I improvised with Prima flowers and Flowers cut from my Cricut from the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge, all cut at 1 1/2. 2, 2 1/2. Some are sprayed with Homemade glimmer mist in lavendar.

A different type of baby roses made with baby Wash clothes from Erin Lee Creative. Aren't they just adorable? Super easy too!

I cut the baby bottles and butterflies at 3" from Gypsy Wanderings and the baby girl rattle from Sugar & Spice Lite Cartridge at 2 1/2".
I had alot of fun making this cake.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks for looking!
