Hi Everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
Time for another awesome Birthday Sundaes Challenge!
This week's Challenge #35 is to make a Birthday card with a Tree.
This week's guest designer is Rayna http://purplepeepstechniques.blogspot.com/.

Here is my card for this Challenge.
I had fun making this card, normally I don't use trees on my cards so this was out of my comfort zone.
I love how it turned out though. A Tree?! So many options! Do I use a die cut? A Stamp? A Sticker?
I can't wait to see what everyone else creates for this challenge! Good luck!
Make sure to stop by the Birthday Sundaes Blog and see what the Design Team has come up with and to join in on the challenge this week!
Thanks for stopping by!

Here is what I came up with.
Photobucket

Of course my Favorite cartridge is Hello Kitty Greetings. My Hello Kitties were cut at 2.75 with all the layers. I used Lacy Labels for my bookmark, a label and its shadow cut at 5. I cut my name from Baby Steps cartridge at 1. My cardstock is from Bazzill and I used my two favorite cuttlebug folders, swiss dots and polka dots. I did faux stitching with my sakura gel pen  and  SU! marker. I then added an eyelet and some of my favorite ribbon and twine.
Thanks for looking!
I'm excited to use these because reading is another favorite hobby of mine!
Don't forget to check out the Cooking with Cricut page!!
Have a wonderful & crafty day!

I promised our daughter that I would make her a door hanger when I made one for our nephew and our son. I saw Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge-
***Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter.... etc...! ***
I knew I had to make this for our daughter.
I used cereal box chipboard for my door hanger base from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (altered on my gypsy)  and cut patterned paper for the front and back, I let our daughter choose these and I think she did a great job! Especially for a four year old!
I used the "Lite" Cartridge Twinkle Toes and my dancer is cut at 6 with all the layers & I also used Sugar & Spice  "Lite" Cartridge to cut the "Little Princess" for the back at 1". I used the font for "Bella" from Baby Steps Cartridge with the shadow all welded on my gypsy. My dad calls her "Bella-rina" so this was perfect for her.
I used Stickles and my irock to "Bling" it up! The paper is from K &Co (front),  Heidi Grace Floral Whimsy (Back) and SU! Pretty In Pink for the Ballerina. I used Peachy Keen Princess Faces for my Ballerina also and I think its the PERFECT touch! I love their stamps!!
She LOVES it and I am so glad!!
Thanks for looking and make sure to check out Emma's Challenge!!
Have a wonderfully Crafty Saturday!

One of my High school girlfriend's just had a baby girl so I wanted to make her something special for her daughter, Evelyn. She knew beforehand that she was having a girl and that her name would be Evelyn. I designed this on my gypsy then cut it with cereal box chipboard and covered it with paper from Several SU! designer stacks and DCWV stacks. I used Storybook cartridge to make the letters for the word book. The ribbon and charms are from my stash.
The matching card I am entering in the Cricut Cardz Challenge #74 something for a baby.
I cut the carriage from Sugar & Spice lite cart at 3.
I gave this to her last Monday when she had her baby and she loved it! :)
Thanks so much for looking!
Sorry for so many posts in one day but my internet is down while they replace the under ground cables.
So I am currently borrowing my parent's.
Have a wonderful and Crafty day!

Here is another cute Layout I made for with my friend's new baby in mind. Also for the  National Scrapbooking day Challenge #7 to make a scrapbook page for My Pink Stamper.
I used baby steps again for these pages. The baby in the Highchair is cut out at 3, the baby food jars at 2, the title Yum, yum and the Hungry cut out at 2 1/4, and the bowl and spoon cut at 1 1/2. I used SU! Summer Picnic DSP, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Whisper White Cardstock. Apron Lace border punch and SU! Real red ribbon and Ink for journaling. I used red and white and orange bakers twine. I also used my favorite Peachy Keen faces for the baby in the High chair.
Thanks for looking!

I made this 8x8 Layout for my friend's who just had a baby girl at the end of March. I'm entering it in the National Scrapbooking Day Challenge #12 to have a Kids themed project over at My Pink Stamper.

I used Baby Steps for the cute little baby girl and hid the face to use my Peachy keen Princess faces. I used a K&Co. baby girl stack and the cardstock is from recollections and colorbok. I used Martha stewart border punch. The "playtime" phrase was cut at 3 and the toys are all at 1 1/2.
Thanks for Looking!!
I thought I would finally post some projects I made for Easter.

The first one is a card I made for my good friend, Stacey.

This cute bunny is from the Baby Steps cartridge cut 3 with all the layers. I made this all purple because its her favorite color. The DSP is from the SU! spring from last year.

I made this for a swap over at Paper Therapy for my partner Vickie.
I bought the pail at Michael's and altered it with vinyl and my Cricut. I used the lovely florals cart for the scrap queen and scalloped circle. I cut the name from Storybook and used recollections bling.

This is the card I made to go with the pail. I cut the bunny at 3 from gypsy wanderings. The paper is from Hobby Lobby. SU! Crumb Cake, pink pirouette and certainly celery cardstock. Spellbinders die for the label and ribbon from my stash.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!
I am helping put on a baby shower for one of my girlfriends who is Due at the beginning of May. She knows she is having a girl, its her first girl but second baby. She didn't want pink or purple the usual girly-girl stuff and so she decided on Navy blue, yellow, white and gray for the Nursery colors.
These are the invites I came up with and just delivered this week.
I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Baby Steps Cartridge (Thanks for the tip Stacey!!). So many cut possibilities!! I already made a banner and my next project is a mini album :)

Here are my invites:
