Hi Everyone!!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
Today the current Trendy Twine design team along with a few Trendy Twine Alumni are sharing some cards and projects for Beth, who just had her baby girl, Autumn.
So we are congratulating her and showering her with lots of Trendy Twine love!

For my project, I made a card using

I used a new to me die from My Favorite Things, Cross Stitch tag die and a pattern from their website. I used the three colors of twine for the bib, then die cut the panel and layered it with a scalloped rectangle die cut from the Kraft in Color 6x6 from Doodlebug. I also cut the words "Baby" from the same paper using the Bright Lights alphabet dies (MFT). Next, I die cut the "Hello" from some dark pink cardstock from Impression Obsession and added some shimmer and glossy accents to it. These are layered on the card front then I added some silver glitter hearts to finish the card.

Congrats again Beth!!
What a wonderful blessing for your family.

Make sure to check out the cards and projects
Have an amazing day!

Hi Everyone!
I am back today to share another card featuring the newly released,

I started with a kraft card base from Desert Storm(Neenah) cardstock. I also die cut a stitched rectangle panel with a border strip from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Designs) for the cute guinea pigs to sit on. Next, I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in white. Then, I added the colored images to the card. Finished the card with some white gel pen and glossy accents in a few places.

Hi Everyone!!
It's been awhile!
Work and life have just kept me so busy, I haven't had much crafting time or blogging time but today I am back to share a card as a Guest Designer for Gerda Steiner Designs. I used the newly released Wheek, Wheek, Wheek stamp set with some fun guinea pigs and sentiments.

I started the card by stamping and copic coloring the fun images from the Wheek, Wheek, Wheek stamp set (Aren't they adorable??). Next, I fussy cut them out. I die cut the pierced frame from some Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper by Lawn Fawn, then I arranged the cute guinea pigs in and outside the frame. I added the frame and images to a desert storm (Neenah) card base. Then I stamped the two sentiments from the set in versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. I added some gel pen details and glossy accents to a few places.

Make sure to stop by the Gerda Steiner store and blog

Hi Everyone!
Today I am a Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Divas.

This week's Challenge is Random Act of Kindness
(Do Something Nice Day).

For my projects, I made some cards and matching tags to give to some fellow teachers, with some coffee cups filled with treats.

The first set I used purple as my inspiration. I layered some purple die cut nesting hearts from some dies I purchased off Amazon. The smallest heart, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from a Hero Arts Kindness stamp set, popped it up and added some clear sequins and a little bit of Trendy Twine to match. Next, I die cut a heart tag from the Tiny Tags die set from Lawn Fawn and heat embossed a coordinating sentiment, then added it to the coffee cup I filled with some yummy treats.

The next card, I used the Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew and watercolored the flowers after I stamped and heat embossed them in clear. The sentiment is from the same Hero Arts Kindness set. I also die cut the panels from a Mama Elephant set for both cards. I finished the card with some wink of stella glitter brush pen on the flowers and some clear sequins. The tag is also from the Tiny Tags dies and stamped/heat embossed with the coordinating stamp set.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi Everyone!
Today, I am sharing a project as a Guest Designer for
Gerda Steiner Designs.
(This blog post contains affiliate links which adds no costs to you but helps me out! So Thank you!!)

I am using the Fall In Love 4x6 stamp set,
so fun and perfect for all those fall cards and projects.

For the card, I started out with a cream colored top folding A2 card base made from 110# cream card stock from Recollections. I stamped the two separate leaves from the stamp set in three ink colors: Desert Storm (Memento), Crumb Cake and Always Artichoke (SU!) inks. Then I sponged the edges with the Crumb Cake Ink. Next, I stamped the cute squirrel couple on Crumb Cake card stock (SU) in Rich Cocoa ink (Memento) then colored them in with copic markers with some white color pencil accents, then fussy cut them out. Then I die cut a rectangle using the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles dies (MFT) out of crumb cake card stock and stamped the sentiment "Fall In Love" in rich cocoa ink as well as, the leaves then I popped up the rectangle on the card base with foam adhesive and the cute squirrel couple to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I am so excited to be a Gerda Steiner Guest designer again!
Thank you to the whole GSD team!!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a great day so far.
(This blog post contains affiliate links which adds no costs to you but helps me out! So Thank you!!)

Today I am sharing a card featuring a *NEW* Gerda Steiner Designs stamp set: Fall In Love.

For this card, I started with a crumb cake (SU!) side folding card base. I took another piece of crumb cake card stock and stamped the tree, leaves and sentiment all in Rich Cocoa ink (Memento) then copic colored the images. I also stamped the cute Owl couple from the set and copic colored them and fussy cut them out to pop up on the tree branch. I added a strip of chocolate chip card stock to the edge of the panel once I cut it down for the card front. I round the two corners then layered everything. I finished the card with some white prismacolor pencil accents and some glossy accents to the beak and feet.
Thank so much for stopping by!
Thanks again to the GSD team for having me as a guest!
Also, make sure to check out the new
Fall In Love 4x6 stamp set.

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a second card as a Guest Designer for Gerda Steiner Designs.
I made another summer inspired card using the
Pool Piggies 4x6 clear stamp set.

For the card, I started by water coloring a piece of water color cardstock with several blue distress inks then added some water droplets, finally I sprayed it with some shimmer mist to sparkle. This will be the water part of the river for the pig to float on.
Then, I took some kraft card stock and die cut it with some wavy border dies to look like the beach or shore, depending on where the river is, I added some dots with copic markers to look like sand. I also double stamped the sentiment in two colors of ink, with a misti stamp tool, in tan and brown.
Next, I stamped and colored the pig, then I stamped the round float and ball on some patterned paper and paper pieced the float.

I added some glossy accents to the ball, pig to look
like water droplets and to the fish for bubbles.
Then I added some stickers to the card for some accents.
The pig looks like he is having fun and so relaxed!!
Thanks again to Gerda and Macy for
letting me be a guest designer.
I hope to have inspired you !

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

For my card, I made a gel card for the cute piggy from the Pool Piggies 4x6 clear stamp set to float in on her little pool floatie.

I started the card with a white rectangle, then I die cut a rounded rectangle from it and also embossed the edge of the rectangle. Then I stamped the cute pig and colored her with copic markers, I paper pieced her bikini, pool float, towel and ball from the Sunkissed 6x6 Doodlebug paper. Next, I added some glossy accents to her sunglasses and the ball. Then I stamped the sentiment from the set on the towel and heat embossed it in clear.
Next, I made the 'pool water' portion of the pool. I used a small snack size ziplock bag, I cut it down to size and sealed it with my fuse tool. Then I added some heart and star sequins to the bag then some blue hair gel, then more sequins and again until my bag was full enough.
Then I adhered the bag to the backside of the die cut rectangle panel, then added that to a white card base with foam adhesive. Next, I added the cute pig and ball to the water panel, then the towel with the sentiment to the bottom right corner. Finally, I added some glossy accents around the card to look like water droplets.

The card is so fun, if someone presses on the gel it moves just like water and the cute pig goes up and down. I hope you were inspired by my card, I know I am ready for summer and some fun pool time!
Thanks to Gerda and Macy for giving me the opportunity to be a guest designer again, I am honored.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

For the card, I wanted the animals to look like they were peeking out. So I stamped, colored and fussy cut the animals from the set then paper pieced the gift and cake,
also from the set.
Next, I die cut three circles from a rainbow chevron patterned paper then added the "Hooray!" sentiment and heat set in clear embossing powder. Then I added the animals to the circles. I layered this onto some burlap, then added some orange patterned paper behind the burlap. I added these layers to a top folding A2 Kraft card base.

Aren't these critters just so fun?!

To the inside of the card, I added a white card stock die cut panel with the rest of the sentiment. Next, I added the Lion from the set and the cake that I colored and paper pieced the frosting next to the Lion.

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a card with a sneak peek of a stamp set being released later on this month for Gerda Steiner Designs. I was honored to be asked again to be a guest designer for them.
This set is called Party Animals 4x6 Clear Stamp Set by Gerda Steiner Designs and is being released on March 22nd along with more stamps and dies. Make sure to check it out!!

Aren't these critters just so fun??

I started the card by stamping the cake, using some post it notes and masking the cake then stamping the lion to the left and the crocodile to the right to look like he is holding the cake. Next I stamped the gift to the left hand side of the card, making sure I left room for the rhino and masked the gift. Then I stamped the rhino and the ostrich. Before I colored the images, I masked them all to create the background. For the background, I made a 'ground' for the critters by masking a line with post-it tape. I added some Mustard Seed distress ink to the horizon and blended that into
Broken China distress ink for the blue sky.

For the ground portion,
I just moved the tape to the sky portion
and added some Gathered Twigs distress ink.
Then I was able to color the images with copic markers, I added some white and black gel pen accents. To the candle on the cake and the ribbon on the gifts, I added some shimmer.
Finally, I stamped and then heat embossed the sentiments from the stamp set.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the gorilla
and added a gift on top of his head for fun.
For this, I stamped the gift first,
masked the gift, then stamped the gorilla.
Finally, I copic colored these images.

Hi Everyone!!
Today I am a Guest Designer for Gerda Steiner Designs.
I am sharing a few cards using the All Cats stamp set.

The first card is a Valentine's/Love card. The XO sentiment from the set inspired me. The cute cat is stamped and colored with copic markers to look like a white cat with black spots.
I stamped the background with the same color of the card stock with the XO sentiment. Then I die the panel with an Oval die and a stitched rounded rectangle die. The oval made a cute window for the cat, holding the sign, I paper pieced the sentiment window with some pink heart patterned paper. Next, I added the back ground of heart patterned paper to the window for the cat. I stamped the sentiment,
"Just a little card to say" in black ink and then added some clear embossing powder. I finished the card with some heart and round enamel dots.

For the second card, I used a card sketch and the "Happy Purr-Thday" as inspiration. The cat is again stamped in black and copic colored to be an orange tabby cat. I cut the papers according to the sketch and added a dry embossed polka dotted background. The "Happy Purr-Thday!" sentiment is stamped and heat embossed in white, then I added some white gel pen faux stitching. I finished the card with some stitched edges, glossy accents to the eyes and nose and matching enamel dots.

I added an action wobble to this cat and
it's just so fun for a birthday card!!
This is the cat in action, he looks like he is ready to pounce!

These are all three of the cards together that I made as a Guest Designer using the All Cats stamp set.

Hi Everyone!!
Today I am a Guest Designer for Gerda Steiner Designs.
I am sharing a card using the All Cats stamp set.
The cats in this stamp set are just too fun!!
I loved coloring them with copic markers.
The cat I used in today's card reminded me of the beloved grumpy cat!

I colored this cat with the gray (N1-N5 family) copic markers, then fussy cut it out. Next, I used some patterned paper from Doodlebug design for the background layer. Then I used a grass border die to die cut some green grass for the cat to sit on. I added this to white card stock that is embossed with a cloud embossing folder then die cut with a 3x4 journal die. The cute birds are paper pieced with matching patterned papers and sitting on a twine rope, I added some knots to the corners. Finally, I added the fun "Stay Pawsitive" sentiment from the stamp set, in black ink, to a die cut banner then added some twine around the edge ending in a bow. For a finishing touch, I added some glossy accents to the eyes and beaks and a few white gel pen accents.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am a guest designer for Die Cuttin Divas
Thank you so much to their team
for allowing me to be a guest.
This challenge is a card sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch:

For my card, I used the Peonies stamp set by Avery Elle. I heat embossed and fussy cut the flowers, leaves and vase from the set. The vase I heat embossed with glitter embossing powder then added some Crystal Clear glitter pen
(Spectrum Noir) for some fun sparkle.
I added the flowers and vase to a die cut circle then layered that onto two die cut Stitched Rounded Rectangles (Pink and Main stamps). Then I die cut the sentiment "With Love" and added it to the card, finally I finished it with two coordinating buttons tied with some Natural Twine.
