Hi everyone!!
I hope you had a wonderful Holiday
and spent lots of time with family and friends!
We had a wonderful Christmas here and even got some snow!!

Time for another fun Cut It Up Challenge- #9 Out with the Old- Create a project that reuses something from the house that you typically would not use in your papercrafting.  (ie. A pendant from an old necklace, the acetate backing from a sticker sheet, fabric from some old clothing, etc) Must use a die cut.

I decided to use something that we had around the house, My hubby is a huge soda lover so we always have cans around. I thought it would be fun to make a masculine card with the tab from one of the cans.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you decide to join in on this fun challenge and I can't wait to see what you create!

Hi Everyone!
This week Joy asked her team to share a project
that is Glittery and Bright for this Holiday season.

I love bright colors but that is out of my normal unless I am working on a kid project.
I saw this paper at Michaels and just loved it!
Purple is my best friend's favorite color so I knew I was going to make something fun for her.

I made this Fun Hershey tree to go with it because who doesn't love something cute and with Chocolate?! Hehe!

Aren't they just cute?!
I hope she likes them :)
This was such a fun project to make and Joy's Holiday Occasions and Everyday Occasions Stamp Sets is just so versatile.

Hi everyone! Happy Friday Eve ;)
This week Joy wanted us to share a tip or technique.
For my technique, I am sharing a way to use up some of those ribbon scraps that we just can't get rid of but run out of ideas for.
I made a traditional bow with some of my scraps then I used the bow to decorate a little bag for a treat and gift card.

First, get some of your ribbon scraps that you want to use.
Then cut them how long or short you would like them to be.
Here I cut mine at : 4", 3 1/2", and 2.

Then twist then to resemble this shape, all except the smallest piece that one will be just a loop or circle. I used small pieces of the red sticky tape to hold them in place.

Next, grab your paper piercer, mat and a few small brads.
Add the 'loops' to your brad opposite of each other.
Until you have all four 'loops' on there.
Do the same with the red loops. I decided the green didn't match well in the middle so I added a bown scrap instead.
You will have three separate pieces. I hot glue mine together to stay secure.
Then add to your gift or project.
I used a small kraft bag here, I plan to put a gift card and some candy in it.
Isn't this font so fun? I love it! The words all come separate so you can have so many choices.
I hope you found this little tutorial helpful and you can use it in your holiday projects!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone!
This week Joy wanted us to share a project with food/treats.
I decided to alter some frappuccino bottles and their holder for my project.

I made this for our daughter's Kindergarten teacher,
then filled it with several different kinds of chocolate!!

The All Around Sentiments set fit perfectly on the lids of these bottles!
Love it!!

I spray painted the container white before decorating it.

Close up of the Sentiment on the front of the bottle holder.

Of course the project isn't complete without a really fun tag,
this sentiment is from Joy's "Wintery Puns" set.
I hope this project has inspired you to create some fun for your holiday treat packaging.
Have a wonderful day and a Merry Christmas!!
