Hi Everyone! I know it's been a LONG time! What can I say.....life has been super busy over the summer and now with the beginning of the school year. Between being a wife, mom, Girl Scout Leader and homeschooling our 10 year old son, life has just been busy!

But I am back today to share a project I made as a guest designer for Trendy Twine! There have been some AMAZING new colors released recently that will match all your holiday project perfectly!
For my project, I embellished a box I purchased at Micheal's  filled with cards I made over the past year and three new sets. This is to give as a gift as a "Handmade with Love"  Women's Christmas party at our church. I know I love getting cards in the mail, handmade or not, but handmade is even more special.

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon with lots more posts!
Make sure to check out all the amazing projects the Trendy Twine Design Team has been creating this month and pick up some Trendy Twine for your projects {here}.

So of course my project features Washi Tape ;)

Onto my project.......

I took a Kerr/Mason jar and altered it with a little washi tape.
I added some washi tape flowers to some pens.
Then I used Joy's Life "My Hero" stamp set to stamp "Hello Super Friend."

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the Joy's Life stamps!!

Hi Everyone! I hope your week is going great!
We have had one Wintery-Spring week here!!
Lots and lots of snow, we need the moisture but wow it's no fun! So I hope the weather where you are is staying nice ;)
Today is my day to share a project for Joy's Life Design Team
This week the team is Recycling/Upcycling something.
I am always saving jars, containers, packaging, etc. because I know I will eventually use it at some point or another.
So I grabbed a container out of my stash, I used a Crystal Light Lemonade container.

3x3 Card to go with the container

I thought I would use some of my washi tape stash to alter this container and make it a little masculine, for a boy or man ;)
Plus, as an added bonus this container fits a single package of Thin Mints!!
That seems to be everyone's favorite!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

-Project Recipe-

Crystal Light Lemonade Container
White Cardstock and Printer Paper
Bermuda Bay ink (SU!) and Stazon Black Ink
Washi Tapes- Queen and Co. and Target Brand
Star Spellbinders and Marvy Uchida Star Punch
Thin Mints, Floral Wire and Cello Bag

Hi Everyone! I hope your week has been great!!
Today is my day to share a project featuring Joy's Life Stamps
Joy just released three new stamp sets. Today I used "Punny Animals" on my card.
Our son, Ethan helped me make this card.
He wanted a puppy card inspired by Blue's Clues, one of his all time favorite, yes still!!
He is almost 10.
He wanted a card to send to Grandma in California.

Here is what we came up with:

This is a doghouse shaped card, I welded together on my Gypsy.
The house is from Create A Critter and the puppy from Cricut American Alphabet.

He also wanted the puppy on an Action Wobble.

Close-up of the fun Joy's Life Sentiment.

The card came out cute and simple. He loves it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!

If you are here from Megan's Blog you are in the right spot.
If not you can start from the beginning at Joy's blog!

Today, the Joy's Life Design Team is sharing some projects from things we are currently "Inspired By". So what am I inspired by? This year our family has decided to get some baby chicks and have our own chicken coop. Our baby chicks are a little over two weeks old and are residing in our Master bedroom in their 'brooding box.' They are just so fun!! I had to make my card with a chick on it!
How cute are these chicks?
We just love ours. :)
