I love doing Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenges. This one was to follow a sketch provided.
This is a "CRICUTLESS" Challenge! Meaning, you are not allowed to use your cricuts, imagines, e2's or your gypsy girls! Basically, we are taking it back "Old School"! You are totally allowed to use punches &/or your cuttlebug!

I made two cards for this challenge.

I love participating in the Facebook  Tacky Tuesday Challenges.  This Challenge is to use the word "sea" in your sentiment. Took my a few days to think of something but here is what I came up with.
Photobucket
I used the Seahorse from Create a Critter and flipped one to make my 'girl' seahorse. They were cut at 2 1/2. I used paper from Colorbok and Stampin' Up Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore and Gable Green. I used the D'vine swirls cuttlebug embossing folder for my water/waves and sanded. My crinkle ribbon is handmade by me and my sentiment is Computer generated and reads "Miss "Sea" ing You!!"
Thanks for looking and have a crafty Tuesday!!

Happy Monday Everyone!
Last night I was able to create a card for the newest Birthday Sundaes Challenge #15- Stars & Stripes Birthday Card.
Photobucket

I used my Wild Card Cartridge and cut everything out at 5 1/2. My paper is from Colorbok and Paper Studio- all the seasons Stack. I punched a few extra stars and stamped "Make A Wish!" and "Happy Birthday". I did some doodling, faux stitching and added some stickles for fun! I think this card turned out really cute!
Thanks for looking and have a Crafty Monday!!
I made this card for this Month's June Card Sketch Challenge over at www.scrapbook.com .

Photobucket

I used the DCWV Sweet stack, Pumpkin pie and Melon Mambo. My watermelon is from Simply Charmed cut at 3 with a cute peachy keen face and Trendy Twine Bow! I used my sew easy for the stitching in green and pink.

I used my Sew Easy and thread for my circle and my rick rack is from Martha Stewart. . All my patterned paper is from Paper Pizazz found at JoAnn's.

She recently moved her crafty space and wanted a new sign for it. So I made her a purple one :)  I got the canvas from Michaels, used homemade glimmer mist in pearl purple. I cut my letters from Martha Stewart Elegant Cakes Cartridge sized and welded on my gypsy with the shadow. I used prima and recollection flowers and three different purple stickles. I cut more butterflies from the same SU! butterfly embosslit.
The ribbon is from my stash and the gems are placed with my Irock, imaginsce and Jolee's.
The crinkle ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

She loves coffee like me and I thought it would be super fun to make her, her very own travel mug. I have wanted to alter one for awhile now so this was the perfect opportunity! I bought the mug at Hobby Lobby. I used the paper on the inside as a template. I stamped and  glittered embossed the paper with a stamp from Emma's My Creative time.  I cut the letters from Martha Stewart Elegant cakes again. Most of these butterflies are the same SU! Embosslit except the one on the "C" that one if from Kate's ABCs cut at 0.75. I then embellished with Stardust stickles and more pearls and gems from my stash.
This has been a SUPER long post!
I hope Stacey enjoys everything and knows what a great friend she is to me everyday!
Make sure you check out her amazing blog and wish her a Happy Birthday!!!

I am also posting this to Made It Myself Mondays Linking party!!
Check it out!!

Have a wonderfully Crafty Day!!!
I love participating in the Cooking with Cricut Challenges. This week the challenge #37 Pick Your Poison- Pick Your Favorite Cartridge and Your Favorite Color.
Here is what I came up with.
Photobucket

Of course my Favorite cartridge is Hello Kitty Greetings. My Hello Kitties were cut at 2.75 with all the layers. I used Lacy Labels for my bookmark, a label and its shadow cut at 5. I cut my name from Baby Steps cartridge at 1. My cardstock is from Bazzill and I used my two favorite cuttlebug folders, swiss dots and polka dots. I did faux stitching with my sakura gel pen  and  SU! marker. I then added an eyelet and some of my favorite ribbon and twine.
Thanks for looking!
I'm excited to use these because reading is another favorite hobby of mine!

I promised our daughter that I would make her a door hanger when I made one for our nephew and our son. I saw Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge-
***Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter.... etc...! ***
I knew I had to make this for our daughter.
I used cereal box chipboard for my door hanger base from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More (altered on my gypsy)  and cut patterned paper for the front and back, I let our daughter choose these and I think she did a great job! Especially for a four year old!
I used the "Lite" Cartridge Twinkle Toes and my dancer is cut at 6 with all the layers & I also used Sugar & Spice  "Lite" Cartridge to cut the "Little Princess" for the back at 1". I used the font for "Bella" from Baby Steps Cartridge with the shadow all welded on my gypsy. My dad calls her "Bella-rina" so this was perfect for her.
I used Stickles and my irock to "Bling" it up! The paper is from K &Co (front),  Heidi Grace Floral Whimsy (Back) and SU! Pretty In Pink for the Ballerina. I used Peachy Keen Princess Faces for my Ballerina also and I think its the PERFECT touch! I love their stamps!!
She LOVES it and I am so glad!!
Thanks for looking and make sure to check out Emma's Challenge!!
Have a wonderfully Crafty Saturday!

This week the Challenge over at Thankful Thursday is to a Man/Boy theme or the Words Man/Boy.
I started working on my Father's day stuff the past couple of weeks and I've been wanting to use my new Father's Day Cartridge. The images are pretty basic on this card so that really helps when making Masculine cards. Sorry this hasn't been posted sooner but Blogger has been misbehaving lately ;)
Photobucket

I used the Father's Day Seasonal Cartridge and cut my 'Best Dad Ever' out at 4 in black. I then layered it on Craft (recollections), Blue (Bazzill), and Black (Georgia pacific) on a white card base. I sponged and distressed all the layers, used my SU! ticket corner punch and added some eyelets from my stash with my crop-a-dile. Pretty simple but masculine!
I hope you enjoyed my card!
Don't forget to pop on over to the Thankful Thursday Challenge and their Facebook Page, Thankful Thursday!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Photobucket

I made this card for the Peachy Keen Challenge #53 , a sketch & a twist (must use sponging) and for the Cooking With Cricut  Color Challenge #32.
I wasn't planning on combining the two of them but it just happened! :)
I love the sketch Peachy Keen provided and the colors CWC asked for are definitely out of my comfort zone!
Here is what I used:
Mother's Day Bouquet seasonal cartridge for the flower layers cut at 2, 1 3/4, 1 and 3/4 for the inside.
My base is recollections craft cardstock, my flower is made with Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie and Summer Sun. I sponged my base with SU! Creamy Caramel and White craft ink as well as the flower.  My flourish and sentiment are SU! retired rub-ons from my stash and I thought they worked perfectly! I added a SU! ribbon rose to the middle of my flower. Thanks for looking and go check out these fun Challenge blogs!
Have a wonderfully, crafty Friday!

The Design Team over at Paper Therapy recent challenge was to find an Ad that ispires you and to make a project using one of the following, colors, layout, etc.
I really don't read alot of Magazines, mostly crafting and I thought that wouldn't be fair ;)
So I let my children pick out the Ad for me.
Here is what they chose:
Photobucket

Here is my card inspired by this Sherwin Williams Ad.
Photobucket
I don't think I did too bad ;) I really like how it turned out and I plan to give it to our nephew who is turning 6 this month and having a Jungle themed party.

I used Create A Critter for my Giraffe cut at 5 with all the layers, I got my layering ovals from gypsy font cut at 5 3/4 and 6.14 on my gypsy. The patterned paper is from a DCWV stack Plaids, Dots, Stripes.  I used SU! Cardstock in Real Red, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Bermuda Bay. I used an old SU! Rub-on from my stash for the 'Rock on, Dude!'  Sentiment and the  "So Cool" sentiment is from my Pink Stamper Punnilicious stamp set. The star brads are from my stash and so is the embroidery floss. I also used glossy accents on his sunglasses and Orange stickles around the large oval.
