Hi Everyone!!
Today I am sharing a project as a Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Divas.

I decided to make a box card using the Box Card Die from Pink & Main Stamps, some stamp sets and dies from My Favorite Things- the Magical Dragons, Make a Wish, and Beary Special Birthday stamp and coordinating dies.
My husband loves dragons and his birthday is this month so this challenge was just perfect. Besides, I don't know about you but I can always use Birthday cards.

I started out with green cardstock from Bazzill for the card base, then I used the Dragon Tails 6x6 patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs to decorate the panels. Next, I stamped and copic colored the Dragons, presents and balloons then I was able to assemble the card. Finally, when I had everything in place for the box card, I added the sentiment from Make a Wish and framed it with some blue cardstock.

I hope you like my card and are able to join the fun Die Cutting Divas Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a card as a Guest Designer
for Gerda Steiner Designs using the new Turtley Great! stamp set.

How cute are these turtles?
They are just perfect for some masculine/boy cards which I am always in need of!
For this card, I made a distress ink background. Next, I stamped and colored the turtles and a few gift packages. I fussy cut them out and popped them on the panel after I stamped the sentiment from the set in black ink. Then, I added the panel to a top folding white card base with some craft foam.

Hi Everyone!
I am back with my last card for the My Favorite Things Summer Camp 2018.
The last day was to use Symmetry on your card or project.
Boy, let me tell you I struggled on this one,
so I just used the supplies that I had out already
and went with something simple.

I also used two more Complementary Colors: Purple/Yellow.
I used the Make A Wish stamp set and dies,
the candles are the symmetrical part of the card.

Woo-Hoo!! So thankful to play along
and have some fun crafty time, FINALLY!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have an amazing day!!

Hi Again!!
I am back with my Day 4 cards for the
My Favorite Things Summer Camp 2018.
Day Four was to use Complementary Colors,
these are colors that are opposite on the color wheel.

I can always use Birthday cards, especially for my students at school. So I made 3 cards with complementary colors: Pink/Green, Teal/Orange and Blue/Orange (for all the Broncos Fans!).

For these cards, I used the My Favorite Things Make a Wish stamp set and dies. I used the patterned papers from Sugar Peas designs again to coordinate the colors and a Hero Arts Ombre ink pad for the flames. I kept them simple because you know, boys don't care for sparkle or sequins usually! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Have an amazing day!

Hi Everyone!
I am back with my card for Day 2
of the My Favorite Things Summer Camp 2018.
The challenge or inspiration for Day 2 is Primary Colors.

Here is my card using the Beary Special Birthday stamp set
and coordinating dies again.

I started with a white top folding A2 card base, I stamped the sentiment from the set on the bottom, making sure to leave room for the patterned paper strips I was planning to add to the left side of the card. I stamped and colored the bear and hat with copic markers, then I stamped the balloons and paper pieced them with dotted red, yellow and blue papers from Sugar Peas Designs. Then I added them to the card front and popped up the party hat. Finally, I added the paper strips to the left and finished with some Totally Lemon Trendy Twine.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a fabulous summer!
Today I am sharing several cards I made for the
My Favorite Things Summer Camp 2018.

For day one, the challenge was White Space.

Here is my card for the challenge using the
Beary Special Birthday stamp and coordinating dies.

I started with a white card base and scored the edge 1/4 in. all around to add some interest. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Onyx Black ink and then added the colored bear with the balloon and the gifts.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card!!
Have an amazing day!

Hi Everyone!
Today, I am helping to wish the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique, Home of Trendy Twine,
**LESLEY**
a Happy, Happy Birthday!!!

I knew I wanted to include two things on Lesley's card, a coffee treat of some sort, even though she prefers the cold kind and PINK!
So I colored this sweet girl, Latte Lucy (C.C. Designs) with copic markers and paper pieced her dress in pink polka dots. Then I fussy cut her out and layered her on a die cut rectangle. Next, I used a paper stack that highlights all pinks, grays and mint green colors and followed a card sketch. I added some Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine to the left side of the rectangle and added two heart buttons finished with a bow and knot. Then I die cut the 'happy birthday' 4 times to layer it and added some Spun Sugar distress ink to the top portion of the sentiment. I finished the card off with some Simply White crystal Nuvo drops and some Wink of Stella clear glitter to her hearts and headband.
I hope Lesley just loves her card and has an amazing birthday!!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful week so far.
Happy First Day of Fall!!
I am so ready for it this year.
Today, I am sharing a card inspired by the current My Favorite Things card sketch challenge #351.

For my card, I wanted to use two new products that I received recently. The cute Happy Hippos (MFT) and the Fairy Tales 6x6 paper (Doodlebug Designs).

I stamped and colored the two hippos with black ink, then colored them with copic markers. Next, I fussy cut them out. Then I used the Fairy Tales paper for the card layers. I used the Scallop Waves Die (Pink and Main stamps) and rounded the corners with a 1/2 in corner chomper (WRMK). Next, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and hand cut it out then layered it on some Orange cardstock (Bazzill) and foam mounted it. I die cut some balloons with the Birthday Balloons die (MFT) from some coordinating dotted patterned paper (The Paper Studio) and the strings from white card stock. Then, I added some white gel pen accents and finished the card off with some Lily White glitter sprinkles (Doodlebug Designs).

I was so excited to have a few moments to create a card and play along with the challenge.
Thank You so much for stopping by!
Have an amazing day!

For the card today, I used the new Too Cool stamp and coordinating dies to make a Birthday card.
I started with a white card base and die cut a coordinating rectangle using Stitched Rounded Rectangles die. Then I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Wishes stamp set and stamped that all over the rectangle. Then I die cut the "Wishes" die and layer from the Take Flight 2 6x6 paper pad and layered them. Then I stamped, colored and die cut the bear with the shades and backpack from the Too Cool stamp set. I popped up the Wishes die and the bear on the card with foam adhesive then finished the card with a few enamel dots.

For the card, I wanted the animals to look like they were peeking out. So I stamped, colored and fussy cut the animals from the set then paper pieced the gift and cake,
also from the set.
Next, I die cut three circles from a rainbow chevron patterned paper then added the "Hooray!" sentiment and heat set in clear embossing powder. Then I added the animals to the circles. I layered this onto some burlap, then added some orange patterned paper behind the burlap. I added these layers to a top folding A2 Kraft card base.

Aren't these critters just so fun?!

To the inside of the card, I added a white card stock die cut panel with the rest of the sentiment. Next, I added the Lion from the set and the cake that I colored and paper pieced the frosting next to the Lion.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a card with a sneak peek of a stamp set being released later on this month for Gerda Steiner Designs. I was honored to be asked again to be a guest designer for them.
This set is called Party Animals 4x6 Clear Stamp Set by Gerda Steiner Designs and is being released on March 22nd along with more stamps and dies. Make sure to check it out!!

Aren't these critters just so fun??

I started the card by stamping the cake, using some post it notes and masking the cake then stamping the lion to the left and the crocodile to the right to look like he is holding the cake. Next I stamped the gift to the left hand side of the card, making sure I left room for the rhino and masked the gift. Then I stamped the rhino and the ostrich. Before I colored the images, I masked them all to create the background. For the background, I made a 'ground' for the critters by masking a line with post-it tape. I added some Mustard Seed distress ink to the horizon and blended that into
Broken China distress ink for the blue sky.

For the ground portion,
I just moved the tape to the sky portion
and added some Gathered Twigs distress ink.
Then I was able to color the images with copic markers, I added some white and black gel pen accents. To the candle on the cake and the ribbon on the gifts, I added some shimmer.
Finally, I stamped and then heat embossed the sentiments from the stamp set.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the gorilla
and added a gift on top of his head for fun.
For this, I stamped the gift first,
masked the gift, then stamped the gorilla.
Finally, I copic colored these images.

Hi Everyone!!
Today I am a Guest Designer for Gerda Steiner Designs.
I am sharing a few cards using the All Cats stamp set.

The first card is a Valentine's/Love card. The XO sentiment from the set inspired me. The cute cat is stamped and colored with copic markers to look like a white cat with black spots.
I stamped the background with the same color of the card stock with the XO sentiment. Then I die the panel with an Oval die and a stitched rounded rectangle die. The oval made a cute window for the cat, holding the sign, I paper pieced the sentiment window with some pink heart patterned paper. Next, I added the back ground of heart patterned paper to the window for the cat. I stamped the sentiment,
"Just a little card to say" in black ink and then added some clear embossing powder. I finished the card with some heart and round enamel dots.

For the second card, I used a card sketch and the "Happy Purr-Thday" as inspiration. The cat is again stamped in black and copic colored to be an orange tabby cat. I cut the papers according to the sketch and added a dry embossed polka dotted background. The "Happy Purr-Thday!" sentiment is stamped and heat embossed in white, then I added some white gel pen faux stitching. I finished the card with some stitched edges, glossy accents to the eyes and nose and matching enamel dots.

I added an action wobble to this cat and
it's just so fun for a birthday card!!
This is the cat in action, he looks like he is ready to pounce!

These are all three of the cards together that I made as a Guest Designer using the All Cats stamp set.

Hi Everyone!!
Today we are helping Lesley, the owner of Trendy Twine and Annie's Paper Boutique celebrate her mom, Janice's Birthday! The Trendy Twine Design Team and Guest designers have created cards using Trendy Twine to send to her for her special day!

Here is the card I created for Janice.

I made a floral shaker card for her. The flowers are from the Peonies stamp set by Avery Elle, I heat embossed the flowers and leave in white and fussy cut them out. Next, I heat embossed the vase in silver on a die cut circle and cut out the inside using my Penblade, then added some acetate to create the window for the shaker portion. I added some sequins and seed beads to the vase to look like water. Then I added some pool party cardstock to the background of the vase. I added the vase and flowers to a white card base that is layered with yellow patterned paper and vellum with hearts. I heat embossed in Gold the "Smile" sentiment from the Smile Stamp set (APB) on the vellum. Finally, I wrapped some Totally White Trendy Twine with a bow and some sparkling clear sequins to accent.

For the inside of the card, I added another peony in yellow and heat embossed the sentiment, again from the Smile stamp set (APB) in gold on a rectangle die cut panel.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
