Woo-Hoo!!! Today is my crafty BFFs, Stacey's Birthday!!!
So of course, I had to make a fun card using a couple of her favorite companies to go with her gifts.
I hope you have an amazing day my awesome friend!!!
Eat some yummy stuff and be a queen for the day!!

For Stacey's card, I used one of the card bases she sent me to try out, Mermaid card stock (Lawn Fawn) for the base layer, I used the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 (Lawn Fawn) die cut with the Basic Set die (Mama Elephant). I also cut the coordinating layer in white card stock and I heat embossed in silver the "Make a Wish" sentiment from the Make a Wish stamp set (My Favorite Things) toward the bottom of the panel. Then I die cut the cake layers from the Interactive Birthday cake die (MFT) in purple and from the Under The Sea 6x6 (Doodlebug Design). I had to cut this piece twice because the first time it was upside down!! That's okay, I used it on the second card. I'm not about wasting from my mistakes, especially precious DB paper!! I die cut the candles from white card stock and copic colored them and added them to the cake top. I used some pearlescent teal cardstock for the pull tab for the slider. I added some Nuvo Glitter drops in White Blizzard to the cake and candles, I think it looks like pretty sparkly frosting. I even added some droplets around the card and some sparkling clear 4mm sequins (Pretty Pink Posh.)

This is the card with the cake slider up to reveal the second layer, isn't that just so fun?
I love it!

This is my second card, made with my "whoops" cut out!!! Hahaha!
Upside down scallops, why not?! :)
I just used an orange card base from Lawn Fawn- Fake Tan.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Don't forget to stop by Stacey's blog or
Facebook to wish her a Happy Birthday!!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a few cards for
the Trendy Twine Design Team.
This month the team is featuring
the Bumblebee Trendy Twine.

I made some fun "Bee" inspired birthday cards.

This card is made for a boy.

This one is made for a girl with her cute little bow.

For these card, I kept the background white with some honeycomb embossing, I added some yellow and black washi tapes to the panels along with some Bumblebee Trendy Twine, one with a bow and one with an open bow. I colored the cute bees from 2CuteInk- Cupcake Bee with copic markers and added some accents with white gel pen, wink of stella clear glitter brush pen and stardust stickles.
Next, I die cut the bees out with a circle die then added the fun sentiment to curve on the circle edge. Then I finished the card with some more Bumblebee Trendy Twine as a bee trail and bow then added some matching enamel dots to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Photobucket

I used my Wild Card Cartridge and cut everything out at 5 1/2. My paper is from Colorbok and Paper Studio- all the seasons Stack. I punched a few extra stars and stamped "Make A Wish!" and "Happy Birthday". I did some doodling, faux stitching and added some stickles for fun! I think this card turned out really cute!
Thanks for looking and have a Crafty Monday!!

I made this for the first Challenge for National Scrapbooking day over at My Pink Stamper to use a cupcake on your project. I thought this super cute cupcake from Sweet Treats cartridge would be fun :)
Really though what cupcake isn't fun?
I used the card feature on Sweet treats cut at 5 to fit a Standard sized A2 envelope. Cut all the layers a 5 as well. The paper is Colorbok, recollections and SU! Pretty in Pink. The ribbon is Offray and the Sentiment is from the Everyday Button Bits set from Papertrey ink. I did my doodles with my Sakura white gel pen and SU! melon mambo  marker. I also embossed my cup part of the cupcake with my swiss dots embossing folder.
Hope you like my card!
Have a great day!!
Hi Everyone! My good friend Stacey has asked that I share in a fun challenge she features every week on her blog. She picks a Cricut Cartridge out of a jar that she owns and makes two projects from that Cartridge.  Since I am a Cricut Newbie, I was really excited for this. What a great way to use Cartridges you normally don't and some that you haven't yet. Check out her project over at Stacey's Creative Corner, her stuff is amazing!

This week our featured cartridge is Tags, Bags, Boxes & More.
Here is my first project.

Tags,Bags,Boxes and More

Tags,Bags,Boxes and More

Tags,Bags,Boxes and More

The card is a card kit I received from my secret sister a few months ago on a Swap featured at Paper Therap. The card kit is Everyday Celebrations from Close to My Heart, I love the colors.
I cut the popcorn container using Fit To Page and that ended up being 6 1/4.
Card stock is recollections Navy blue and the Designer paper is scraps from the CTMH card kit.
The Tag is also from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cut at 3 1/2 with a window.
The hat is cut from Celebrations at 2 1/2.
Ink : Dutch Blue and Chocolate from Close to My Heart and Chocolate Chip SU! Marker.
Ribbon: Close to My heart and Stampin Up Old Olive grosgrain.
Misc.: Pom-pom from stash & Cello Bag filled with Candy.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to Check back later on this week for my second featured project from Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More!

Hop on Over to Check out Stacey's Creative Corner too!
Have a great day!
Today's Post is a card I made for my Brother for his Birthday.
I used my new Pagoda cartridge.

I cut the card at 5 1/4 and the "Kanji" symbol for celebrate at 1 1/2. I cut the gift bag using Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and it was 7 1/2. The bag was pretty small and I only used it to put candy in. I was really excited to use that cartridge. I used Core'dinations Hocus Pocus Cardstock and the silver is from a Walmart Shimmer stack. I inked the edges in silver.
Tip: Next time I cut this card the Carstock needs to be 2 layers or pretty thick. The card fit in a Standard A2 envelope though.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
Today is my sister-in-law, Bethanye's 27th Birthday. Happy Birthday to her. I already shared the chickadee card I made for her but I thought it would be fun to share the 'sock' cupcakes I made for her.
