Hi Everyone!!
Happy National Cardmaking Day!!
Today, I am sharing a card that I made as a
swap with my Crafty BFF, Stacey.
Make sure to visit her blog!
We used the same sketch and stamp company,
Gerda Steiner Designs for this swap.

Here is the sketch:

Here is the card I made with the sketch.

I used the "You're Koalafied" stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs. The image is colored with Copic markers and I added some white gel pen accents. The card base is Neenah Solar white 100# cardstock and the patterned paper is Fun and Frolic 6x6 from My Favorite Things. I added some various enamel dots. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed in clear.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a wonderfully Crafty day!

Hi Everyone!!
I hope you are having a great week so far.
Today the current Trendy Twine design team along with a few Trendy Twine Alumni are sharing some cards and projects for Beth, who just had her baby girl, Autumn.
So we are congratulating her and showering her with lots of Trendy Twine love!

For my project, I made a card using

I used a new to me die from My Favorite Things, Cross Stitch tag die and a pattern from their website. I used the three colors of twine for the bib, then die cut the panel and layered it with a scalloped rectangle die cut from the Kraft in Color 6x6 from Doodlebug. I also cut the words "Baby" from the same paper using the Bright Lights alphabet dies (MFT). Next, I die cut the "Hello" from some dark pink cardstock from Impression Obsession and added some shimmer and glossy accents to it. These are layered on the card front then I added some silver glitter hearts to finish the card.

Congrats again Beth!!
What a wonderful blessing for your family.

Make sure to check out the cards and projects
Have an amazing day!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful week so far.
Happy First Day of Fall!!
I am so ready for it this year.
Today, I am sharing a card inspired by the current My Favorite Things card sketch challenge #351.

For my card, I wanted to use two new products that I received recently. The cute Happy Hippos (MFT) and the Fairy Tales 6x6 paper (Doodlebug Designs).

I stamped and colored the two hippos with black ink, then colored them with copic markers. Next, I fussy cut them out. Then I used the Fairy Tales paper for the card layers. I used the Scallop Waves Die (Pink and Main stamps) and rounded the corners with a 1/2 in corner chomper (WRMK). Next, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and hand cut it out then layered it on some Orange cardstock (Bazzill) and foam mounted it. I die cut some balloons with the Birthday Balloons die (MFT) from some coordinating dotted patterned paper (The Paper Studio) and the strings from white card stock. Then, I added some white gel pen accents and finished the card off with some Lily White glitter sprinkles (Doodlebug Designs).

I was so excited to have a few moments to create a card and play along with the challenge.
Thank You so much for stopping by!
Have an amazing day!

Woo-Hoo!!! Today is my crafty BFFs, Stacey's Birthday!!!
So of course, I had to make a fun card using a couple of her favorite companies to go with her gifts.
I hope you have an amazing day my awesome friend!!!
Eat some yummy stuff and be a queen for the day!!

For Stacey's card, I used one of the card bases she sent me to try out, Mermaid card stock (Lawn Fawn) for the base layer, I used the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 (Lawn Fawn) die cut with the Basic Set die (Mama Elephant). I also cut the coordinating layer in white card stock and I heat embossed in silver the "Make a Wish" sentiment from the Make a Wish stamp set (My Favorite Things) toward the bottom of the panel. Then I die cut the cake layers from the Interactive Birthday cake die (MFT) in purple and from the Under The Sea 6x6 (Doodlebug Design). I had to cut this piece twice because the first time it was upside down!! That's okay, I used it on the second card. I'm not about wasting from my mistakes, especially precious DB paper!! I die cut the candles from white card stock and copic colored them and added them to the cake top. I used some pearlescent teal cardstock for the pull tab for the slider. I added some Nuvo Glitter drops in White Blizzard to the cake and candles, I think it looks like pretty sparkly frosting. I even added some droplets around the card and some sparkling clear 4mm sequins (Pretty Pink Posh.)

This is the card with the cake slider up to reveal the second layer, isn't that just so fun?
I love it!

This is my second card, made with my "whoops" cut out!!! Hahaha!
Upside down scallops, why not?! :)
I just used an orange card base from Lawn Fawn- Fake Tan.

Thank you so much for stopping by!!
Don't forget to stop by Stacey's blog or
Facebook to wish her a Happy Birthday!!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hi Everyone!
I am back for Day 4 of the My Favorite Things Camp Create.

Day 4 is all about Divine Dry Embossing.
I created two cards for this challenge.

I can always use encouragement cards, especially masculine ones so I used a simple layout with dark colors. The sentiment is heat embossed in clear and silver on a Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles Stax dienamics from the Cheerful Blessings Stamp set. The cross is dry embossed with a Spellbinders cross die.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!
I am back again to share my day 2 card for the My Favorite Things Camp Create.

Day 2 is all about Ombre cards and sentiments.

I created two cards for this challenge,
one with a Ombre background and one with a Ombre sentiment.

The inside of the card reads, "That is What you are."

Of course, I had to use this "Awesome" sentiment from the Simply fabulous sayings stamp set on a Zig Zag Stitched rectangle stax dienamics. I kept these cards pretty simple so I can use them in my more masculine card selection.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

The first day is all about Monochromatic Magic.

I made a few cards for this challenge.
I used the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles stax dienamics die for the panel and added sentiments from the Simply Fabulous Sayings stamp set, heated embossed and I made some coordinating felt mini rolled roses.

For this card, I used the Mini Rolled Roses die
and made them with the same cardstock color.

I just love this stamp set and these rolled roses,
they are so pretty and elegant.

Hi Everyone!
I am back to share a project for the final day
of Camp Create Day 5- Background Bonanza.

I decided to make a rainbow inspired background with the small heart and sun in the Cheerful Blessings stamp set (MFT). I masked off the sentiment after I stamped and heat embossed it. Then I added the hearts in a rainbow and then suns. I finished it off by adding some shimmer and glossy accents.

For the second card, I used the same stamp set and stamped the sentiment, die cut it with a circle die then added the heart and sun in two shades of yellow to mimic sun rays. I finished this card off with some shimmer and sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Hi Everyone!
I am back with Day 3 for Camp Create.
Day 3 was all about Inlaid Die cuts, I don't have many MFT Dienamics so I got some inspiration from a crafty friend ;o) and used the few that I do have.

I created a Birthday card with some fun bright colors.
The sentiment is the Inlaid portion of the project.
The balloons are hand cut then popped up in the panel that was die cut using the Zig Zag stitched rectangles die (MFT). I added some Totally White Trendy Twine for some playful balloon strings. I finished the card off with a layer of Teal card stock and some sparkling Clear sequins.

Close up of the In Laid die cut sentiment

Hi Everyone!
I am back to share some cards I made for
 the MFT Camp Create challenge.
Day 2 is all about Coloring on Kraft card stock.

I decided to try and color some of the cute girls I have from MFT, I made these with some of my crafty girlfriends in mind. I can't wait to send them out.

The first card I stamped the girl from Crafty Friends stamp set (MFT) in Black Licorice ink and used my Prismacolor pencils to color her. I made her in the image of a friend :) I added some white gel pen accents and a little bit of sparkle to her.

The second girl I did the same thing, she is from the I Pick You stamp set (MFT) and I plan to send this one to another friend, hopefully to brighten her day.

I really enjoyed coloring on Kraft card stock.
 I don't do it enough!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!
I have been following along and completely inspired by all the great projects being featured this week over at the
 MFT Blog called Camp Create.
The first day is all about Fantastic Foiling.

I don't have a foiling machine so I decided to use some of my Stick It adhesive sheets, the Bright Lights alpha dies and some foil. I created two cards for the challenge.

For this card, I die cut a panel using the Zig Zag stitched rectangles from White card stock then I added the die cut letters that were cut from adhesive sheets, next I added orange foil to the top, burnished it then removed. To finish the card, I added some sparkling clear sequins and popped it up on a white card base.

For the second card, I used a Kraft card stock base. I stamped the sentiment "You Make Life" from the Simply Fabulous Saying stamp set (MFT) with some Black licorice ink. Then added the border with a Copic Multiliner and a ruler. Finally, I added the die cut letters cut from the adhesive sheets again then added the green foil. I wanted this card to have a more masculine feel so I kept it simple.

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you are inspired to play with some foil.
Have a wonderful day!
