Hi Everyone!
Today I am a Guest Designer for Die Cuttin Divas.

This week's Challenge is Random Act of Kindness
(Do Something Nice Day).

For my projects, I made some cards and matching tags to give to some fellow teachers, with some coffee cups filled with treats.

The first set I used purple as my inspiration. I layered some purple die cut nesting hearts from some dies I purchased off Amazon. The smallest heart, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from a Hero Arts Kindness stamp set, popped it up and added some clear sequins and a little bit of Trendy Twine to match. Next, I die cut a heart tag from the Tiny Tags die set from Lawn Fawn and heat embossed a coordinating sentiment, then added it to the coffee cup I filled with some yummy treats.

The next card, I used the Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew and watercolored the flowers after I stamped and heat embossed them in clear. The sentiment is from the same Hero Arts Kindness set. I also die cut the panels from a Mama Elephant set for both cards. I finished the card with some wink of stella glitter brush pen on the flowers and some clear sequins. The tag is also from the Tiny Tags dies and stamped/heat embossed with the coordinating stamp set.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing a card with my very first
Galaxy background.
I have seen this technique used several times
and always wanted to try it.
I'm not going to lie, I am not a messy crafter, haha!!
This was a little out of my comfort zone and I had inky fingers for days but it was fun :)

I used the Hello Friend Wishes stamp set (Mama Elephant) for the focal point of the card since I don't really have any space inspired stamps or images. The cards was fun to create. I started out my stamping and heating embossing the sentiment in white then adding my distress inks. Once all the ink was added, I added some perfect pearls mist droplets and then some white acrylic paint splatters to mimic stars. Then I added the panel to a purple A2 card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm back sharing another card using the same technique as yesterday but with purple distress inks. Check out that post {here}. For this card, I used the amazing sentiment from the His Love stamp set by Mama Elephant.

I used the same MFT STAX Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Edge frame dies again, largest one and this time I used the Bristol Smooth paper with the distress inks. I started by heat embossing the sentiment again and blended lightest to darkest, Milled Lavendar, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord. Next, I added the frame with white card stock and some iridescent sequins from Darice.

Thank so much for stopping by!
I hope you have an amazing day!

Hi Everyone!
Today I wanted to share a bright and cheerful card I made using the big Hello Friend sentiment, from the Hello Friend Wishes stamp set by Mama Elephant.

I just love the scripty font in this set and it just pops against the orange to yellow background.
First, I die cut a panel out of some canson xl watercolor paper from the MFT STAX Stitched Rectangle Scalloped edge frame die, the largest one, then used my Misti and stamped the sentiment in versamark ink and heat set it in white embossing powder. Then I added some distress inks, blending from the lightest to the darkest, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Abandoned Coral, added some water droplets and shimmer spray. I added the scalloped frame but in white card stock and adhered it to a white card base. I finished it off with some yellow and sparkling clear pretty pink posh sequins.

I love the pretty look of this card, so bright and cheerful!
I stamped the coordinating sentiment from the set, "I just wanted to say 'Hello' to help brighten up your day!" to the inside of the card. I hope to make many more cards like this one.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Everyone!!
I have something new and fun to share today.
My BFF Stacey and I have decided to change up
our card swaps and do a fun card collaboration
with the same stamp set,
we are calling it "Card Harmony".

We were inspired by Fern Bainbridge and Ashley or Sparklycanadiancraftygirl
and their card wars posts on Instagram.
We loved the idea of using the same stamp sets
and creating something to share.
So we decided to do our own version,
we will take turns purchasing a stamp set for each other, it will be a surprise to the other until it arrives in their mailbox and we will each create and share
something with the stamp set.
We will share our creations on the third Monday of each month.

For our first one, I picked "Chance of Rain
from a recent Mama Elephant release.
Here is my card:

For my card, I decided to make a shaker card
because they are just so fun.
I used several sets of sequins for my shakers,
Martha Stewart, Pretty Pink Posh
and JoAnns seed beads.
The little heart sequins from Martha Stewart
make it look like falling heart rain.
I paper pieced the girl's raincoat and her umbrella
with some Hello Sunshine from Doodlebug designs.
I colored the cute bear and girl with my copic markers.

Make sure to check out Stacey's awesome card!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
We plan to make this is monthly event
as our schedules permit.
Have a wonderful day!!

I watercolored some water color paper with
some Broken China Distress ink then
heat embossed my Easter Sentiment.
I then added the cute grass border die
and then die cut my tag and
added a Trendy Page Dot to each tag.
I added these cute bunnies I colored
with my prisma pencils and some gamsol.
Then I added a cute Pinkberry Sorbet Trendy Twine
bow to the girl.

The boy bunny got a Totally Navy bow tie.

Hi Everyone!!
Today is my day to share a project featuring Love My Tapes design team using their washi tapes.
I enjoy using washi tapes on so many projects
but I am a card maker at heart.
So I made this cute card with a
few colorful tape choices from the store.
I made this card with my mom in mind,
she loves green and monkeys and her birthday is coming up!

These colors are just so fun and bright.
Definitely perfect for a birthday card or project!
I colored the cute little monkey with Spectrum Noir markers
and added some white gel pen accents.
Then I colored the balloons with some Stampin Up markers (Regular), added some Wink of Stella glitter pen and some glossy accents. Then I added the Love My Tapes washi tapes in a pattern on the front panel. The tapes used here are: Colorful Circle washi tape, Yellow Chevron washi tape
and Lime with White Dots washi tape.

I added some strips of washi tape to the inside of the card
for an extra special touch.
I always like to decorate the inside of my cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a great day!
